Pecha Kucha

I’m taking part in the first Pecha Kucha event of 2018 at Dunfermline Carnegie Libraries and Galleries!

Pecha Kucha is a presentation style in which 20 slides are shown for 20 seconds each (6 minutes and 40 seconds in total) which keeps presentations concise and fast-paced. Eight speakers from all walks of cultural life will present themselves over the course of the evening.

In my 6 minute slot, I’ll be talking about how I came to write and illustrate a book about the fairytale creatures of Folkland Wood.

This event also introduces artist Ceilie Byrne (work pictured) alongside a librarian, a jeweler and the curator of a food museum.

The event is free, but capacity is limited, so booking is required. If you’re local and would like to come along, tickets are available from ONfife

Hope to see you there
