Book Launch Postponement – now 17th April

As you can see from the subject line, I’ve found myself in a position where I have to postpone my book launch party. I’m gutted to have to reschedule, but I can’t get copies of my book in time to sell them on Tuesday. I’ve decided it’s less embarrassing for me to reschedule than stand up in front of everyone apologising for not having any books to sell.

I’m sharing this announcement across social media, but wanted to let you know personally.I’ve put a video on my facebook page explaining my reasons properly which you can view at https://www.facebook.com/jennigudgeonartist/posts/10156321463733833

Basically, the person who formatted my book was ten days late, which threw out all my other dates. On Wednesday  it was still physically possible to have books delivered to me for the launch. However the person delivering my proof copy, upon finding me out, returned my package to the depot rather than leaving it with neighbours (as every other delivery driver does around here). This meant I would have been a day late to order books for the launch. They wouldn’t possibly be delivered in time.

Folkland Fables will still be for sale on Amazon from Tuesday, and we’ll just be celebrating it a few weeks late. Because of the Easter holidays, the launch party will now be held on 17th April after the Easter holidays

I hope you understand and can make it along on the 17th April if you’re local.

By the way, the book looks amazing in physical form and I’m immensely proud. It’s such a mix of emotions!

As ever, thank you so much for your support.

Jenni x
